The "Forward Day by Day" devotional booklets for November, December, and January are available now. Many people use this publication as part of their regular prayer life. If you do or would like to, be sure to pick one up in the lobby.

Las Posadas at St. Paul's Bakersfield
Monday, December 18, 5 p.m. This year’s Posada starts at Mill Creek Christian Church (1660 S Street, Bakersfield), and will end at St. Paul's (2216 17th Street) for refreshments and a celebration. All are welcome to commemorate the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem.

Christmas Eve Service
Sunday, December 24, 5 p.m.
There will not be a 10 a.m. service on December 24.

Removal of Christmas Decorations
Sunday, January 7, during Coffee Hour.

Tutu Desk Program
Students in South Africa, especially children, do not have desks in their classrooms. Therefore, Canon Anna Carmichael invites us to support the program to provide them a Portable Desk. The cost of each portable desk is $20. Please donate. We will raise funds through the Day of Pentecost (May 19, 2024). Then our Church will send a check to the Diocesan Office with our contributions. Let’s make a difference in the lives of children in Africa.

Ministry Vacancies
We need ushers, greeters, and offering counters. 
At our Annual Meeting in January, we will need to elect two new members to the Bishop’s Committee.
