​The Bishop Search Committee announces the Meet and Greet Calendar to gather with the 4 candidates for the Bishop’s Election. All are welcome.

1. Meet and greet for Southern Deanery: Thursday, September 11th at St. Paul’s, Bakersfield, 2216 17th St.
   (between B St & C St), 6 PM to 8 PM - Will be recorded & posted at a later date.
2. Meet and greet for Northern Deanery: Saturday, September 13th at St. Paul’s, Modesto 1528 Oakdale Rd.,
   11:30AM to 1:30PM - Will be recorded & posted at a later date.
   Also at St. John the Baptist, Lodi 1055 S Lower Sacramento Rd, 6:30PM to 8:30PM
   – Will be recorded & posted at a later date.
3. Meet and greet Central Deanery: Sunday September 14th at St James Cathedral, Fresno 4147 E Dakota Ave,
   3:30PM to 5:30PM – Will be recorded & posted at a later date.

We are raising funds to send to the Diocese to help with Bishop David;s farewell gift before he and his family move to his home in New Zealand. Please make your donations in cash or by check payable to St. Michael's and deposit them in our Little Church, located in the lobby. The deadline for submitting your donation is September 28th, St. Michael's and All Angels Day. Thank you for your generosity. 

Our English speaking service will start at 9 a.m. Immediately after the service, we will meet in the Parish Hall to ​to give our input regarding the candidates to become our next Bishop to the Delegates and Clergy who will vote in the Special Convention on Saturday, October 18, at Saint James’ Cathedral in Fresno.

This year our Stewardship Campaign will start in late August and end in early November, beginning with letters to invite you to support Saint Michael's and our ministries with 5 weekends of reflections and 4 weekends of personal testimonies of Church members. We will invite all our members to become or continue being a pledge member of this Church. Being a Steward in the Church is about freely giving from the gifts that God has given us in life with gratitude to transform them: Time, Talent, and Treasure. Our Campaign will be based in the motto, "Tell out my soul / Proclama mi alma."

We are looking for four people who will testify (give a speech or a talk) for 3 or 5 minutes in our Campaign's Sunday Worship Services saying, "Why you support Saint Michael's or why you would like to support Saint Michael's." The Signup Sheet is on the Lobby Table of the Church.
